Who says SezWho

I have added Sezwho to my blog ... I am still unsure about this and with every good reason ... so for the moment it is purely on a trial basis. I dislike the idea of the star rating as these trawel all the way back to the start of your blog and give you a miserly 2.5 score ... I don't like that idea. You start off with a 2.5 rating ... I don't like that idea either. Presumably only members of Sezwho can rate you , I haven't yet tested that out but then if that is so ... I don't like that idea one little bit!!! Perhaps it's the English in me or are many of you thinking the same as me?

One thing this does do is to take me back to junior school - was it the same for you that when you first began to write little stories for the teacher, your reward would be a little paper gummed star that would be stuck at the end of your work with a very long tick. Coloured stars would be given if your work was nice and neat and if it was very good, and you were very lucky ... a beautiful gold star. Of course, everyone wanted a gold star. Just the same as everyone in athletics wants a gold medal ... and perhaps that is the problem because the moment you begin to place stars that are lined up to show the world who you are then of course you want the maximum available - that's human nature!

This new partner of Entrecard called Sezwho for the moment is purely on trial - the jury is out and we'll see if it remains on my blog.

Extra note: I have tried SezWho until end of Saturday .......... My blog wasn't loading properly and as it appeared at the end of each blog entry it looked as though every entry was star marked!!!!!!!! SezWho is obviously not meant for Blogger blogs ... I love my blog and do not wish to export it anywhere else and so I have now removed SezWho.

I put SezWho on my blog for approximately 2 minutes. I hated it. It's so gone. :)

I too have the SezWho thing installed on my blog. Right it too is on trail basis.
I'll give it a couple of weeks before I say yay or nay.

People who aren't logged in can still rate, but their opinions don't rate so highly.

I don't like it either.

I am still pondering SezWho, thanks for the info tho... and I love the pic of that black and white kitty :)

People who are not members of SezWho can rate comments and posts, their rating just isn't given as much weight when determining the overall score (because it could be random people that are trying to raise or lower your rating).

It's also pretty customizable, so you can have as little or as much as you like integrateed into your blog.

Really SezWho is my new favorite thing on the internet. I just love it for some reason!

I wondered about that 2.5 star rating on everything too, but I guess I'll just see what happens. I've found when rating some posts it doesn't always give the right number of stars that I tried to mark but don't know why. I like the concept though and hope it works. I installed it on both my blogs for now: http://zemeks.blogspot.com/2008/07/entrecards-partnership-with-sezwho-is.html

Well, I've been gone on vacation and just returned to see some of the discussion about sezwho. I've seen it in the past and wasn't interested. So, I went to take a quick peek this evening, only to find that their whole site is down.

Maybe I'll check again later, but so far I'm pretty unimpressed.

I love posts like this. There is so much junk out that targeted to bloggers that I truly appreciate it when someone says "this works" or "this stinks."

So, there's another one of those hyped to the gills services to avoid.

Thanks!
